Wakefield, Massachusetts - Tina Houston has joined environmental consultant Metcalf & Eddy as vice president, announced firm president, Steve Guttenplan. Ms. Houston will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, and will serve as Metcalf & Eddy’s business unit leader for the city of Atlanta, DeKalb County, and Fulton County.
“Tina brings more than 20 years of engineering, program management, and business development experience, and we are thrilled to have her join our team,” states Guttenplan. “Her knowledge of Atlanta, local professional involvement, and industry reputation provide a strong base for her in expanding M&E’s services to clients throughout Georgia.”
Before joining Metcalf & Eddy, Ms. Houston managed the Atlanta Department of Aviation’s contract for environmental programs at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. In that role, she was responsible for maintaining a comprehensive environmental program to comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and for supervising teams of engineers, toxicologists, geologists and air quality scientists.
Ms. Houston has also been actively involved in numerous professional organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Airport Executives, Georgia Water Pollution Control Association, and the Environmental Committee of the Airports Council International. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
Ms. Houston received her B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the West Virginia Institute of Technology. |
